Our Mission

The Prussing Elementary School PTO strives to promote open and positive communication between parents and staff of Prussing Elementary School and to enhance and maximize the education of every child so they can achieve their highest potential.

What Do We Do?

  • Plan Family Events - Fall Carnival, Trunk or Treat, Family Movie Night

  • Organize Parent/Teacher Nights Out

  • Fundraisers - Restaurant Nights Out, Book Fair, Read-a-thon, Spring Auction

  • Fund Materials, Experiences & School Improvements

  • Kindergarten Meet & Greets - Plan events for new students/parents to meet other families

  • Monthly Meetings - Held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5pm

Why We Fundraise

When you support PTO Fundraisers you help raise money for:

  • Supplemental Classroom Materials & Experiences

  • Field Trips & Buses

  • Pizza Parties/ Rewards for Sports Teams & After School Programs

  • Financial Assistance for Events/Experiences for Families in Need

  • Equipment & Materials for Extracurricular Activities

  • Long-Term Goals & School Improvements - We just funded $20K toward a new Auditorium Sound System
